Aqui no Arch instalei pelo repositório AUR, mas no seu caso no ubuntu você pode ver se já tem no repositório oficial com o comando

apt-cache search chromium-widevine

Caso não encontre nada você pode tentar seguir esses comandos aqui:

To install Pipelight in Ubuntu 14.04, you can use its official PPA. Add the PPA and install Pipelight using the commands below:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:pipelight/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pipelight-multi

Then, install the Silverlight plugin using the following command:

sudo pipelight-plugin --enable silverlight

To install the Widevine plugin, use the command below:

sudo pipelight-plugin --enable widevine
