Quando eu tento executar o Eclipse Luna pelo terminal, recebo o seguinte:

Ele também gerou um log, mas eu não sei qual parte dele seria útil para postar aqui, pois é muito grande.

Como posso resolver esse problema e utilizar o Eclipse?

Consegui resolver o problema após digitar o seguinte comando antes de abrir o eclipse:
export SWT_GTK3=0
