reinstalei o mandriva2010 free,e não apareceu a entrada do mandriva no grub2 do ubuntu de novo,dai eu entrei com o ubuntu instalei o grub customizer e selecionei umas entradas que pelo nome não tinha nada a ver com o mandriva e quando reiniciei la estava o mandriva e mais um monte de entradas na tela do grub,ao dar uma olhada no arquivo boot/grub/grub.cfg do ubuntu está assim:

acho que o mais dificil foi feito que era entrar no mandriva.
