Erro de inicialização - Grub

Boa Tarde Pessoal
Não tenho muita experiencia no linux e meu sistema esta apresentando essas mensagens:
Depois de atualizar:
Updating GRUB menu
(obs: depois de achar os sistemas instalados normalmente)
erro: syntax error
erro: incorrect command.
erro: syntax error
erro de sintaxe na linha 514
erros de sintaxe foram detectados no arquivo de configuração GRUB gerado.
certifique-se de que não há erros nos arquivos /etc/defalt/grub e /etc/grub.d/*

Alguém pode me ajudar a resolver?

Apos a atualização apareceu esta mensagem:
Mainline kernels can sometimes cause problems if there are proprietary drivers installed on your system.
These issues include:
-Wifi not working
-Black screen on startup
-Random system freeze

If you any of these issues there is no need to panic.
-Reboot your system
Select 'Advanced Boot Options' from the GRUB boot menu
Select an older Kernel from the list displayed on this screen
Your system will boot using the selected kernel
You can now uninstall the kernel that is causing issues.
