Caríssimo Sr. Tlaloc creioq eu não seja problema no xorg.conf e sim na configuração do player. E concordo contigo Naruto não deveria rodar em player algum! Nem nenhuma dessa porcarias de anime para menininhas miadinhas nhe nhe nha anninhas WHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Olha vai no terminal digita:
xine
e depois dê enter abra o video (a joça do naruto) e espere dar erro e informe oq eu apareceu no terminal.

Abra também o xine e clique com o botão direito e vá em setup e em configuration experience level coloque "master of the know universe.
Isto abrirá todas opções de configuração do player de uma olhada na aba de vídeo e informe o driver utilizado.

Informe como está seu xorg.conf também.

ThePinkShark, olhe a saída do comando "glxinfo |grep rendering" dela.
Com uma placa off nVidia, deveria ter retornado "YES" por isso que estou batendo na tecla da configuração do X.
Mesmo o problema do Naruto (Naruto é que é o problema, isso sim) sendo configuração do player, a falta do direct rendering é do X.

Tentou ver as configurações do player como mencionei? veja elas antes de mexer com o xorg, e outra coisa a Sra(rta). tem o ffmpeg instalado?

ThePinkShark, alguns tipos de vídeo só rodam bem em alguns players.
Por exemplo, a última codificação disponível para rmvb não roda bem no Totem, fica sem som.
O mesmo arquivo no MPlayer funciona normalmente.

Mesmo assim, ela está sem aceleração de vídeo, o que deveria ter, com o driver de vídeo instalado.

Anna, por favor, baixe novamente o driver de vídeo da nVidia e instale.
Lembre-se de dizer que não quer baixar uma versão pré-compilada, quando perguntado.
