Conexão discada no Ubuntu 10.04

Estou com dificuldade para conectar pela discada, alguma idéia?, alguem já passou por isso?, segue abaixo a menssagem do log:

Se estiver usando o GnomePPP verifique se a opção verificar portadora está marcada ou vice-versa.
