Isso está uma bagunça! para que possam lhe ajudar, digita esses comandozinhos mágicos em seu terminal e posta eles aqui pro povo conferir.

$ sudo cat /etc/apt/sources.list > LISTA_DE_PACOTES.TXT

$ echo "" >> LISTA_DE_PACOTES.TXT

$ ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/  >> LISTA_DE_PACOTES.TXT 

* copie tudo o que estiver neste arquivo LISTA_DE_PACOTES.TXT e cole aqui.

Tentei esses comandos agora, mas não apareceu nada, você pode detalhar um pouco mais o que devo fazer? Agradeço do mesmo jeito!

Vou repetir facilitando ainda mais:

$ cd

$ uname -a > RELATORIO.TXT

$ echo "" >> RELATORIO.TXT

$ sudo cat /etc/apt/sources.list >> RELATORIO.TXT

$ echo "" >> RELATORIO.TXT

$ ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/  >> RELATORIO.TXT

$ gedit RELATORIO.TXT 

* se no último comando der o gedit como não encontrado ponha algum editor que sirva, tipo: leafpad, mousepad, kate, kwrite.

Se com o resultado a coisa estiver muito feia, a sugestão de fazer uma instalação limpa procede.

Vc está usando repositórios nde linux sem suporte há anos
E quando ainda era gnome2
Faça bkp antes de tudo
Pq chances de quebrar são grandes

Bom, eu não sei o que fazer agora, mas talvez seje uma ideia. E se eu instalar o Ubuntu 15.04? Eu uso o 14.10 Utopic Unicorn

Não é impossível, mas é muito improvável que você consiga atualizar essa versão antiga do Ubuntu para uma mais atual, minha sugestão é baixe a versão do UBUNTU LTS (14.0.3) em:

http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

E escolha a arquitetura desejada no campo ( Choose your flavour )

Tá se realmente é o 14.10, pergunto: de onde sairam aqueles montes de gutsy no seu sources.list? será que foi algum duende? hiii mistério...
