faz assim cara,
aki neste endereço vc encontra pacotes oficiais do slacware 12
ftp://ftp.slackware-brasil.com.br/slackware-12.0/slackware/d
ja esta na serie d, baixe os arquivos gcc 4.1.2 tgz, baixe todos, vai ter gcc, g++, gcc-java, depois disso, tenteo com o pkgtool, remover tudo em matéria de gcc que vc tenha no computador ^^ e então instalei os que vc baixou do endereço oficial, boa sorte.

tipo eu fui no pkgtool e não havia gcc para remover, sendo que quando eu pressiono gcc mais tab, aparece gcc 3.4, eu removi o 4.1 e instalei novamente, fiz o mesmo com o kernel source, mas ainda não consegui instalar, gcc e g++ 4.1 instalado mais o kernel source do kernel rodante, e nada, vou postar os logs do arquivo da nvidia:

xii amigo melhor esperar vir aqui alguem mas experiente do que eu, vc falou que quando pressiona tab ainda aparece o gcc 3.4 e ele não aparece no pkgtool, e que com tudo instalado como mostrou nas screenshot nao roda ainda, vai ter de ter paciencia, ou formatar a maquina, apesar que eu sou contra formatar, melhor buscar a solução e aprender mais vai de ti, se não tiver tempo.
