Este arquivo demonstra com habilitar sua placa de som Plug and Play off-board que usa o barramento ISA. No arquivo a placa mãe que está sendo configurada é uma Sound Blaster 16 AWE fabricada pela Creative.
O arquivo pode ser salvo no diretório /etc, e deve ser usado no programa de configuração de hardware isapnp da seguinte maneira:
# isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf
Existem algumas opções de configuração no próprio arquivo, e você poderá ecolher a de sua preferência descomentando-as e comentando as configurações atuais.
A porta de game encontra-se desativada nesse arquivo pois haverá um conflito durante a alocação de memória no seu endereço. Esse conflito ocorre porque a controladora de joystick já é automáticamente habilitada no sistema (pelo menos no meu caso).
