configurar resolucao do terminal, antes de entrar no X(kde)

Bom dia, gostaria de saber como configurar a resolucao do terminal, antes de entrar no KDE com o startx.

Depois que instalei o drive da NVIDIA, o boot e a sessao de logar as letras ficaram muito grandes. Onde eu configuro a resolucao do terminal antes de entrar no KDE??

Amigo,

Destaquei a seção do seu arquivo "/etc/lilo.conf" que trata da resolução da tela no modo texto.

Primeiramente, tudo que for precedido por "#" é tratado como comentário e não é interpretado pela sistema.

Dessa forma, a sua configuração atual é "vga = 791", ou seja,
1024x768x64k de acordo com a tabela acima. Faça testes, alterando o valor de "vga = ", e reinicie a fim de que você veja as alterações.

Poste o resultado.

mudei coloquei outro numero pra ve se mudava alguma coisa e nao mudou nada...

minha resolucao é 1680x1050, sera q eu poderia adicona-la a este arquivo desta forma

# VESA framebuffer console @ 1680x1050x64k
#vga=9999


e depois colocar la em cima '9999' ???


Mas de qualquer forma, eu alterei la e setei uma configuracao ja existente e nao mudou nada...


Outro problema que ta rolando é que apos eu instalar o driver da NVIDIA, toda vez q eu entro no KDE e abro alguma coisa, o terminal por exemplo, ele nao fica visiviel na minha tela, ele fica do lado, e eu tenho que fica procurando com o mouse arrastando a aplicacao pro centro. E so a partir disso que as aplicacoes que eu abro, comecam a abrir normalmente e visivelmente.

alguma sugestao em relacao a isso?

Quanto a isto, esta tabela já tem valores pré definidos, conforme a imagem:

Veja também se é necessário rodar algum comando após editar o "/etc/lilo.conf".



Quanto a isto, pode ser algo relacionado à sua resolução de tela dentro do X, ou algo com o driver, mas não tenho certeza.
