Infelizmente não tive sorte na hora de validar o meu domínio no StartSLL.com, mas conforme eu conversei com o contato da StartCOM (um americano!!!), o StartCOM é o único que emite certificados SSL gratuito que são confiáveis.
Se quiser ver a minha conversa com o contato da StartCOM:
