Gerenciador de atualizações [RESOLVIDO]

Olá a todos. Hoje, quando liguei meu computador, pareceu um ícone na minha bandeja de sistema. É um ponte de exclamação em vermelho, se eu colocar o mouse em cima, aparece :

As informações sobre atualizações estão desatualizadas. Isto pode ter sido causado por problemas na rede ou por um repositório que não esta mais disponível. Por favor, atualize manualmente clicando neste ícone e selecionando 'Procurar por Atualizações' e verifique se houve falha em alguns do repositórios listados.

Quando eu clico no ícone, abre o Gerenciador de Atualizações, logo eu clico em verificar. Ai abre uma janelinha, atualizando cachê e talz. Alguns segundos depois da um erro. Falha ao baixar informações do repositório, verificar sua conexão com a internet. E nos detalhes esta escrito:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/sevenmachines/flash/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/sevenmachines/flash/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Alguma solução ?

É provável que o repositório tenha saído do AR....

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list

removido

faça como o sugerido pelo @Josue e acrescente isto:

$ ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

#

Resolvendo esse problema você poderá instalar o Flash através deste link:

http://get.adobe.com/br/flashplayer/

Mas não há nada de errado com meu flash .. Quer dizer, no Chromium, o flash sempre funcionou perfeitamente, mas no firefox ou em qualquer outro navegador o flash não funcionava. Eu usava aquele flash plugin da Central de Programas msm . Mas, recentemente eu instalei uma extensão no firefox ( Flash-Aid ) que instalava o flash mais recente e talz. Depois disso funcionou perfeitamente. Será que tem alguma coisa a ver ?

Obs. Digitei no terminal o ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ e deu isso :

A linha do seu sources.list que aponta para o repositorio onde está hospedado o flash player não foi encontrado...

Por isso colega acima sugeriu a instalação...

Obrigado pela ajuda, a dica do edps deu certo, não teve mais nenhum erro . E meu ubuntu é 11.04, não 8.04 O.o

ola boa noite
tenho esse problema quando vou pedir para instalar qualquer tipo de programa na central de programas do ubuntu
"falha ao baixar informações do repositório verificar sua conexão com a internet ubuntu 13.04"
oque fazer?
