Como ouvir/baixar podcasts em ubuntu minimal?

Ate agora sim (esperando o update do sistema terminar, dar um reboot para ter certeza de que ele nao vai ficar em 640x480 igual ao lubuntu).Diz no meu perfil linux mint pois esta em mina maquina principal, cuja qual nao esta comigo ate o momento.

Ainda nao troquei o layout do teclado

A luz caiu, e como o note não tem mais bateria, corrompeu bastante a interface gráfica. mas era de se esperar, reinstalei o sistema e irei colocar para atualizar hoje, já que não sei porque o download dos updates nele estava lento.

A internet em sí está ótima, mas a placa de rede desse note (ar2427), é meio antiga q creio que seja o problema da equação.
De qualquer modo irei tentar puxar algum cabo e deixar ele baixando updates via cabo mesmo.

Verifica qual o padrão que essa placa trabalha (10/100/1000 megabits)

Parece que trabalha em (10/100MBit), pode confirmar. No caso o problema ser revolve comprando uma nova com 1000 megabits.
