big linux 4.2 não detectou wireless

Olá

Sou iniciante no linux e adquiri um notebook semp toshiba is 1454, com o sistema operacional linux insigne, onde tudo funcionava corretamente. Resolvi instalar o big linux 4.2, ocorreu tudo bem com a instalação, mas a placa wireless não está funcionando, ou seja, o big linux não detectou. Afinal como posso ter minha wireless funcionando novamente com o big linux?

Aguardo orientações.

Vc já tentou usar o Centro de Controle do Big Linux para configurar sua placa?

Tentei configurar usando o centro de controle e não consegui, não achei a opção configurar wireless.
Quando eu aciono o ícone que assemelha a um plug de rede que fica ao lado do relógio, com o mause ele não oferece a opção de rede sem fio, ficando disponível somente a rede com fio. Ao realizar o boot pelo cd com o linux ubuntu 8.10, a luz da placa woreless acendeu e no ícone apareceu a opção de rede sem fio, mas gostaria que isso acontecesse com o big linux 4.2. logo abaixo vai o resultado do comando lspci, que eu acho que pode ser útil para quem entende, sendo assim aguardo novas orientações.
