Olá de novo estou com um problema com o up-date do meu ubunto sempre que tento da um update ele termina com erros: sudo apt-get update

Porque o problema é o mesmo. Mas vamos lá.

O problema é por causa da chave : http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic Release.

Você recentemente fez alguma alteração do source.list ?

Algum motivo especial para usar esta chave do Ubuntu 9.10 ?


Se preferir você pode trocar os repositórios:

Suas fontes estão uma veradeira "zona".

Maverick misturado com Karmic (errado, muito errado), como dá para ver.

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Apague estas linhas:

bem parece que está tudo bem novamente com sistema graças a vcs, bem vou tentar explicar para vcs o que eu tava tentando fazer, eu tava querendo instalar uma maquina virtual mais só que ela nuca rodava me retornava uma msg de erro e pesquisando na net alguns sites me instruíam a fazer alterações,mas depois descobri que meu kernel 2.6.37 não tinha os módulos instalados para rodar as maquinas virtuais, e agora eu tô tentando desinstalar esse kernel e retroceder para uma versão mais antiga, mas não consigo de geito algum já vi vários artigos aqui no fórum mas nenhum parece da geito. Mesmo assim muito obrigado pela disponibilização de tempo de vcs.

Bom, qual seria o erro, para instalar neste kernel ? Já pesquisou sobre o erro?

- Você desinstalou o kernel antigo ? No Grub aparece a opção do outro kernel ?

[EDIT] Sobre a desinstalação do kernel 2.6.37, uma opção seria pelo Synaptic, na caixa "Pesquisa rápida" procura pela imagem do kernel '2.6.37', você deve encontrar algo do tipo "linux-image-2.6.37", depois você deve marcar para desinstalar (com o botão direito), cuidado para não marcar outras opções sem necessidade, feito isso reinicie o sistema. OBS: Antes tenha certeza que o kernel antigo está instalado, para não ter problema depois. Outra maneira,seria comentar o kernel correspondente no arquivo do grub, mas tendo a certeza que o outro kernel está instalado.

ai vai as sequências de comandos que já usei para desinstalar o kernel 2.6.37
uname -r
2.6.37

ls /boot | grep vmlinuz | cut -d'-' -f2,3
2.6.35.2
2.6.37
2.6.37.old
quando eu uso esses comandos para listar os pacotes do kernel 2.6.37 ele não me retorna nada, e o tutoria diz que ele tinha que me retorna os pacotes linux-headerses
dpkg -l | grep ^ii | grep 2.6.37 | awk -F' ' '{ print $2 }'

então não sei o que fazer, e quanto ao link que vc me mandou eu já tentei e não deu certo, e foi +ou- assim que eu acabei desconfigurando minha sources.list, não quero dizer que foi com esse artigo mais sim com outros que pesquisei indiscriminadamente.

Use o Synaptic para instalar o último Kernel original disponível.

Procure por "linux-image".

Entre no sistema pelo Kernel original do Ubuntu e use o Synaptic para desinstalar o Kernel "estranho" (não-original), obviamente se ele foi instalado a partir de um pacote deb.
