2. How to enable 3D desktop effects
2.1 Make sure the compiz-config-manager is installed for advance config Issue
the command line at the terminal
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
2.2 Add the support list and the compiz script
edit the script file /usr/bin/compiz, find the line:
WHITELIST="nvidia intel ati radeon i810"
modify it to:
WHITELIST="nvidia intel ati radeon i810 via"
2.3 Enable compiz windows manager
At the menu bar, open System -> Preferences -> Apperance
At the visual effect tab, select extra -> then keep setting.
2.4 restart x-server ("Ctl+Alt+Backspace) or reboot, the desktop effects
will be enabled.
Obrigada!
