Amigão do meu coração seguinte eu fiz o processo como me informou digitei sudo init 1 ai eu dou enter e oque acontece começa a tela roxa escrito assim ubuntu ai vai enxendo os pontinhos ae a some tudo nao volta mas eu tenho que reiniciar!

seu arquivo já é antigo, no link que o Josué passou fique atento que a versão também é uma anteior a que esta no site, então lembre-se de alterar para o nome correto, mas se seguir o tutorial não tem como errar.
