ola!!
gostaria muito que alguem me ajudasse na seguinte questao: que tipo de joystick funciona no linux, pois estou com um aqui agora no meu pc que comprei, e ele nem liga, nem acende a "luisinha".
qual seria o motivo??
alguem por favor pode me ajudar??
espero resposta

Esse joystick é USB ou serial (própria pra jogos)? Se for USB, plugue-o no computer e digite:

# lsusb

Poste aki o resultado pra gente saber qual é o chipset do joystick.

sim e usb , mas digito #lsusb no terminal??
onde??
digitei no terminal dei um enter e apareceu apenas o meu usuario, sem nenhum resultado!!

Veja q a cerquilha não deve ser digitada, apenas mostra q vc deve digitar o comando como superusuário (root). Esse comando não pode simplesmente dar o nome do seu usuário. Vc deve digitar apenas lsusb (com o joystick plugado).

Tente executar esses comandos:

# modprobe joydev
# modprobe analog
# modprobe ns558

(Não se esqueça q a cerquilha não deve ser digitada!). Fala ae se deu certo; se não, poste a saída do comando:

quando e digitei su - me pediu a senha, e a senha do administrador?? digitei a do administrador e deu o seguinte : su: falha de autenticaçao!!

Agoooora q eu percebi q vc é uma "mana"... foi mal pelo "mano". Bom... vc pode usar o comando sudo. Ex.:

sudo modprobe joydev

Ae ele vai pedir senha (na primeira vez apenas). Dae vc põe a senha do seu usuário msm, e não d administrador. Tente dessa forma ae.
