Problemas com Bluetooth

Pessoal é o seguinte: estou tentando ativar o bluetooth no meu notebook mas não vai nem a pau!
Os comandos lspci e lsusb não mostram nada referente a ele.
Estou usando o kernel 2.6.30 que compilei no sábado. Já tenho também instalados os pacotes ( bluez-utils bluez-gnome bluetooth ) e o bluetooth do note é Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth.
O comando hciconfig não retorna nada tbm!
Estou usando Debian 5.

O posso fazer agora?

O problema é q o módulo não tá compilado no seu kernel. Entre nesse diretório abaixo e execute:

# cd /usr/src/linux
# make menuconfig

Entre nesse abas: "Networking Support > Bluetooth subsystem support > Bluetooth Device drivers" e ative todos (como módulo) os HCI's. Salve e execute:

# make
# make modules_install

Deverá resolver o seu problema.

cara eu fiz isso reiniciei o sistema e nada, na hora do boot ele aparece alguma coisa de bluetooth hci!

o dmesg tem essa mensagem:

Kra, c tem certeza q tem bluetooth no seu note? Quando vc o ativa, no lsusb num mostra nada? Coloque a saída desse comando pra eu v, por favor.

Kra... esse Dell seu t enganou. Não tem bluetooth ativado, nem no seu lsusb e nem lspci. Como exemplo, existe uns modelos da Acer q tem o botãozim d ativar o bluetooth, mas não tinha bluetooth! Ae fiquei sabendo q eles utilizavam a msm carcaça pra vender outros modelos. Pode ser o msm caso q o seu, não acha? Verifique o modelo do seu Dell no Google pra saber se as outras pessoas possuem o msm problema q o seu. Se só vc tiver, acione a assistência técnica da Dell pra v o q houve, sacou?

tem sim cara, eu uso dualboot com windows vista e no vista eu uso o bluetooth de boa...doideraa kk

Estranhíssimo... quando vc ativa a placa d bluetooth no vista, ele acende alguma luzinha? E no seu Debian ele reage da msm forma?

não, esse note não tem luz cara, é td mensagem na tela
no vista a tecla ativa e desativa wireless e bluetooth
no debian ela não faz nada

Huuuumm... então ele é ativado através das famosas teclas "Fn"? Se for, o seu módulo ACPI está ativado? Se não estiver, esqueça q num irá funfar nem a pau. Veja isso...

funcionando está, verifiquei uma coisa interessante: pressionei a tecla que ativa wifi e bluetooth e dei o comando lsusb..veja o que retornou:

Achei o seu problema!! O seu dispositivo Bluetooth é um HID e deve ser transformado em HIC. Esses são as referências do seu Bluetooth:
