Ola estou tendo problemas com comando apt-get update, eu tava tentando instalar um programa no terminal e quando eu to comando apt-get update:

Ubuntu-14.10 Utopic Unicorn foi lançado em outubro/2014 e já está sem suporte desde julho/2015
Portanto:
1-faça bkp de seus arquivos
2-instale ubuntu-14.04.3-lts ou ubuntu-15.10

Existem, basicamente, duas versões do Ubuntu: as versões regulares e as versões LTS.
