wireless no ubuntu 11.04 [RESOLVIDO]

Ola pessoal, instalei recentemente no not o ubuntu 11.04, gostaria de algumas dicas para configurar o wireless que não esta funcionando. "a rede sem fio esta desabilitada por hardware". Desde de já agradeço pelas informação.

Digite no seu terminal:
lspci e poste o conteúdo aqui para podermos saber qual o modelo da sua placa wireless. Com essa informação ficará mais fácil de te ajudar.

Outra coisa que você também pode fazer é instalar o wicd. No terminal digite:
sudo apt-get install wicd, coloque sua senha de root e aguarde a instalação terminar. Pode ser que só a instalação do wicd já resolva o seu problema pois na maioria das vezes ele reconhece as placas wireless e põe sua rede wireless no ar.

sistema >> adminstração >> drivers

e instale o driver recomendado da sua wifi
