1. Qual a diferença entre ubuntu mate 16.04.1 lts e ubuntu mate 16.10 [RESOLVIDO]

Olá!
Quero atualizar o ubuntu 14.10 para o mais atual.
Escolhi o ubuntu mate, mas gostaria de saber qual a diferença entre as versões 16.04 LTS e a 16.10.

16.04 eh uma versão lts que terá suporte até abril 2021
16.10 eh uma versão regular que terá suporte até julho 2017
Versões lts são mais estáveis e tem maior tempo de suporte
Eu só recomendo versões lts
