1. Libera xmpp no iptables

Olá!

Estou com a seguinte dificuldade, instalei um servidor Openfire e estou tentando utilizar o aplicativo XABBER no android.

Já está funcionando, liberei as portas tudo certo, mas só conficiona quando eu comento a seguinte linha do firewall:


$IPT -A FORWARD -p tcp ! --syn -m state --state NEW -j DROP

Meu conhecimento em Iptables é bem superficial, então se alguém puder me ajudar a interpretar esta linha, agradeço.

Pq vc manda bloquear todas as flags na chain FORWARD, exceto a SYN, e depois libera em seguida? A segunda regra não é válida mais. Por isso q, quando descomentada, tudo passa a funcionar. Basta deixar essa linha comentada (ou removê-la), pq as regras abaixo já limita quais estados de conexão serão aceitos em cada chain. A política DROP pra tudo vai te assegurar disso.
