Boa noite companheiros! sou novo usuario do Ubuntu 8.04 e apesar de ter gostado deste SO, estou apanhando mais que o Rock Balboa para configurar meu Virtualbox versão comercial com o Windows xp, pois preciso executar no Windows, aquilo que ainda não sei no Linux. Ele aborta a instalação na fase de formatação com sistemas de arquivos NTFS.
Já compilei o aquivo VBOXDRV e continua o problema. Com certeza o problema é da camada 8 e não sei ler a mensagem de log que tentarei postar:

Cara, nunca usei o Virtualbox, mas pelo log o problema está neste techo.

agora não sei se ele não está conseguindo emular esse PIIX3 ATA ou se é outro problema.

Qual é o Chipset da sua máquina ?

Não sei se é possível, pois como disse, nunca usei; mas tenta deixar o enxuto possível, sem uSB etc
