Olá Galera estou iniciando no mundo linux e minha primeira instalação foi o squid, mas infelizmente não está rodando alguém poderia me ajudar.

Dê os seguintes comandos:

ps aux | grep squid
netstat | grep 3128
netstat -a | grep 3128

mas nada...
segui os passos do site

Falta você liberar a tua rede interna, além de outras configurações. Qual é o endereço da tua rede interna?
192.168.1.0/25.. 192.168.0.0/24...172.16.1.0/24...etc. << deve ser alguma coisa parecida com um desses aí.

meu ip está como 192.168.1.31
como posso fazer isso amigo?

Depois damos uma melhorada. Verifique a versão do teu Squid com o comando squid -v ou squid -version e coloca aqui.
Você configurou o script do IPtables para fazer o compartilhamento e o redirecionamento ou você quer o Squid somente para uma máquina?

então por enquanto somente para uma máquina mesmo, depois vou tentar aplicar em outra para ver o que dá... eu não utilizei totalmente o script do gilberto...
