VMWARE dando erro de modulo, por conta da kernel 4.6.. alguém sabe como resolver?

Boa tarde galera, até um tempo estava usando a kernel 4.5 com o VMWARE 12, sem maiores problemas, contudo o ubuntu 16.04 ainda precisa corrigir poucos detalhes, principalmente a falta de suporte a GPU da AMD... Mas o novo kernel 4.6, permiti ter o suporte a algumas placas além de tornar as GPU's mais dinamicas e um melhor aproveitamento da bateria, para notebooks. O grande problema está, quando atualizei e fui o VMWARE ele não mais funcionava informando erro de modulo.
Tentei varias vezes fazer uso do acesso ao servidor sem acesso, e por fim como não conseguiu instalar ele referencia um log, para mostrar qual foi o erro.
Me ajudem galera, faço uso dele e preciso para um trabalho...

Se pegou o kernel da próxima versão do Ubuntu, lembre-se de instalar o pacote com os headers do kernel.


*instale também o pacote dkms, para gerar os drivers quando trocar de kernel

Passos:

1) tar -xf /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmmon.tar
2) vi vmmon-only/linux/hostif.c
3) Procurar e substituir a ocorrência de get_user_pages() para get_user_pages_remote()
4) tar -cf /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmmon.tar /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmmon-only/
5) tar -xf /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmnet.tar
6) vi vmnet-only/userif.c
7) Procurar e substituir a ocorrência de get_user_pages() para get_user_pages_remote()
8) tar -cf /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmnet.tar /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/vmnet-only/
