Boa a noite a todos.
Galera, estou precisando de ajuda, sou novato no DEBIAN e instalei no meu notbook, porem a placa wirelles não pega, já procurei no forum e as soluções que encontrei não resolveu o meu problema. abaixo as configurações do kernel e da placa:

Bom...

Primeiro vamos baixar o arquivo fonte do kernel e depois compila-lo:

1º - Baixar Arquivo fonte:

# wget -c http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/linux-3.1.4.tar.bz2

2º - Copiar arquivo para /usr/src , depois descompacta-lo e por fim acessar pasta criada, faça como root :

# cp /local de origem/linux-3.1.4.tar.bz2 /usr/src
# cd /usr/src
# tar -jxvf linux-3.1.4.tar.bz2
# cd linux-3.1.4

3º - instalar pacotes necessários para instalação do kernel:

# aptitude install linux-headers`uname -r` build-essential libncurses5 libncurses5-dev gettext kernel-package
# aptitude install initramfs-tools rfkill

4º - Dentro do diretório /usr/src/linux-3.1.4, vamos configurar o kernel

# make menuconfig

Caso o ultimo comando dê algum erro posta aqui, depois coloco os outros passos para concluir a instalação...

instale o comando:

# aptitude install hwinfo

depois de instalar execute o comando e poste a saida

## Depois de instalar ##

poste a saida desse também

# ifconfig wlan0 up

retorna ai...

deu certo instalou sem problema

# ifconfig wlan0 up

wlan0: ERROR while getting interface flags: Dispositivo inexistente

deu isso.

Blz amigo, obrigado pelos os retornos.

Problema: Driver não está instalado.

Solução: instalar o driver.


Como fazer isso:

1º - Compilando o kernel para uma versão mais nova;
2º - Compilando o driver;

**** Vamos compilar o driver ****

Vamos aos passos:

### baixe esse pacote é um pacote que tem o driver ###

ftp://WebUser:n8W9ErCy@95.130.192.218/cn/wlan/92ce_se_de_linux_mac80211_0004.0816.2011.tar.gz

### Instale esses pacotes ##

# aptitude install linux-headers`uname -r` build-essential libncurses5 libncurses5-dev

### Copie o pacote que baixou para /usr/src e faça a extração de seu conteúdo ####

# cp /home/seu usuario/92ce_se_de_linux_mac80211_0004.0816.2011.tar.gz /usr/src
# cd /usr/src
# tar -jxvf 92ce_se_de_linux_mac80211_0004.0816.2011.tar.gz

### Entre no diretório criado ###

# cd rtl_92ce_92se_92de_linux_mac80211_0004.0816.2011
# ./compat/script/compat-install.sh
# reboot

retorna ai...

instalei conforme orientação, abaixo a informação que apareceu:

make -C /lib/modules/2.6.32-5-amd64/build M=/usr/src/rtl_92ce_92se_92de_linux_mac80211_0004.0816.2011/compat-wireless-3.0-2 modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.32-5-amd64/build: Arquivo ou diretório não encontrado. Pare.
make: ** [modules] Erro 2

success install driver rtlwifi in compat-wireless, you can use driver after reboot

e ainda continua sem wirelles.
