Erro ao instalar Driver [AMD/ATI] RV610/M72-S [Mobility Radeon HD 2400] - Notebook

Boa noite.

Estou a tentar instalar o drive para AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400.
Realizei o download do drive no próprio site e ao usar o comando:
sudo sh amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13.1-legacy-linux-x86.x86_64.run
ou o comando: bash ./amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13.1-legacy-linux-x86.x86_64.run

aparece a caixa de dialogo da Catalyst com as opções:
Install Driver 8.97.100.7 on X.org 6.9 or later
e
Generate Distribuition Specific Drive package

Ao escolher a primeira opção ocorre a mensagem de erro:
One or more tools required for installation cannot be found on the system.
Install the required tools...

O log do erro é:
Check if system has the tools required for installation.
fglrx installation requires that the system have kernel headers. /lib/modules/3.16.0-37-generic/build/include/linux/version.h cannot be found on this system.
One or more tools required for installation cannot be found on the system. Install the required tools before installing the fglrx driver.
Optionally, run the installer with --force option to install without the tools.
Forcing install will disable AMD hardware acceleration and may make your system unstable. Not recommended.

Não sei como devo proceder. Alguem poderia ayudar?
