VMware Server sem atalho [RESOLVIDO]

blz galera...
to com um problema na instalação do vmware Server no slackware 12.1.
tenho dois arquivos um vmware-any-any-update-116.tgz e o outro VMware-server-1.0.5-80187.tar.gz . Descompactei os dois, entrei no diretorio criado quando descopactei o VMware-server-1.0.5-80187.tar.gz e dei o comando ./vmware-install.pl só que aparece o seguinte erro:

depois fiz o seguinte entrei no diretorio criado depois que escomactei o arquivo vmware-any-any-update-116.tgz , e digitei o comando ./runme.pl. Rodou de boa, só que não criou nem um atalho, o VM só abre depois que eu digito o comando vmware do execultavel. Não sei porque isso, alguem pode me ajudar com isso. Valeu galera do linux.....

Para vc instalar o VMware Server, vc terá primeiro que fazer o seguinte...

1-
# apt-get update
# apt-get install module-assistant
# m-a update
# m-a prepare

2-
# apt-get update
# apt-get install libx11-6 libx11-dev libxtst6 xinetd wget
# apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` build-essential
# apt-get install gcc binutils-doc make manpages-dev autoconf automake1.9 libtool flex bison gdb libc6-dev-amd64 lib64gcc1 gcc-2.95-d
# apt-get -f install

Na maioria das vezes funciona normal em Gnome, outras é preciso instalar o KDE, para funcionar normalmente

fiz o seguinte eu instalei a versao mais nova do vmware agora da a seguinte mensagem
