Não consigo instalar Intel Graphics Installer no Linux Mint 17.2 [RESOLVIDO]

Eai pessoal, estou iniciando no Linux e resolvi fazer um dual boot do Linux Mint com o Windows 7, mas o Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon 64 bits acabou não reconhecendo o adaptador de vídeo da Intel que é um Intel 82945g Express Chipset Family e acaba ficando em resolução muito baixa. Segui alguns tutoriais na Internet mas não funciona, ao baixar a versão 1.1.0 do Intel Graphics Installer e instalar no modo gráfico, depois quando executo o programa da o seguinte erro:

Checking if Intel graphics card available... OK
Retrieving information from 01.org... Failed

Tentei esse procedimento no Terminal, mas tmbm não funciona.

Se eu vou em Exibir em preferências só aparece duas resoluções 1024x768 e 800x600 mas meu monitor é Full HD.
