Instalar driver de video s3grafic

ola amigos,acabei de instalar o linux ubuntu 9.10 e nao estou conseguindo instalar o driver de video s3grafic da sis,e nao esta ativando o dispositivo wireless .
sera que alguem pode me ajudar?
