Problema com HPLip. Impressora HP 2050 não funciona.

Minha HP 2050, parou de imprimir.
removi e re instalei o pacote HPLIP.
configurei normal (hp-setup) e pedi para testar.
não imprime, e dá mensagens de não conseguir conectar com servidor CUPS.
o usuário normal está no lpadmin.
