Instalação da Glib-2.9.6.tar.bz2

Boa noite à todos,


estou precisando muito da ajuda de vocês. Ocorre que algum tempo atrás tive o mesmo problema e desisti, porém dessa vez quero resolver para poder aprender.


O que acontece é que preciso instalar no meu Linux Mint 16 o DockManager ( https://meocloud.pt/link/75b7ea4c-a28d-4f65-ad42-83fbb9321a8a/dockmanager-0.1.0.tar.gz/ ) do Docky 2.2.0 e para isso ele requer que seja instalado esta biblioteca glib-2.9.6 ( https://meocloud.pt/link/50fa9778-3fce-4f51-a7ab-15cbc5cfea3c/glib-2.9.6.tar.bz2/), contudo, essa mesma biblioteca já tive maior problema com outro aplicativo a ponto de desistir de instalar o app, entretanto, desta vez quero saber como resolver, ou seja, como instalar a biblioteca e posteriormente esse app, afinal ambos estão como código fonte.
Agradeço se alguém souber onde encontrar o .deb, mas ficaria mais contente em resolver aprendendo como instalar esses dois arquivos.


Pesquisei bastante, fui à uma FãnPage do UbuntuDesktop https://www.facebook.com/groups/ubuntudesktop/395351353939178/?notif_t=group_comment), lá tentamos várias forma, inclusive a conversão do pacote por meio do App Package Converter, que faz a mesma coisa que o alien, o que tb tentei sem sucesso.


Tentei, sem sucesso, o apt-get install glib.

Li este tutorial, que antes dava erro logo quando rodava o ./configure, agora consegui rodar o mesmo, mas apresentou outro erro. O tutorial é este

Que manda fazer basicamente isso aqui:

voce pode reinstalar tudo da seguinte forma:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc

(a diretiva --prefix define o diretório onde serão instalados todos os arquivos, se o --sysconfdir também estiver presente, os arquivos de configuração serão direcionados para o diretório definido)

make
make install

quando rodo o sudo make dá este erro aqui:

Também segui este documento, mas nada!

Sei poderia e deveria ser mais sucinto, porém quis descrever todo o passo-a-passo porque assim vocês podem ver onde errei e tb perceber que até aqui no fórum fiz uma varredura e não encontrei material suficiente para que eu conseguisse, então por favor, me ajudem!

primeira coisa, GLIB, da distro, é mais antigo ou mais novo que essa versão que quer colocar?

porque GLIB e GLIBC são Bibliotecas críticas, se vc "reverter" seu GLIB, outros pacotes de seu Linux, poderão não funcionar mais.

No linux que uso (tipo gentoo, que é modular), podem co-existir versões diferentes de pacotes,mas não sei se isso pode ser feito nos Linux baseados em debian.

na compilação, vc não está conseguindo,dá permission denied, provável pq seu sistema está usando GLIB, o ambiente gráfico etc....

responda se é mais antigo ou mais novo, pq acho, tem outros jeitos, ex. compilar via boot de cd e chroot, fazer link simbólico, mudar a compilação para fazer ele depender de outra versão de glib etc....

A versão que estou tentando instalar do Glib é a mais recente 2.9.6 e a que está instalada é a versão 2.12.10 e por isso quando estou instalando aplicativo Dokcy Manager está pendido uma mais atual.
