aumentar resolução de vídeo

Boa noite pesoal!
instalei o ubuntu 7.10, dectou a placa de víceo voodoo 3000, o monitor samsung syncmaster 550v, mas a resolução máxima é de 800x600. segue configuração do xorg.conf:

Pessoal,

consegui alterar a resolução do monitor usando "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg". Agora tenho 1024x768.
