Zandronum não roda no Debian Linux

Olá a todos do fórum.
Instalei recentemente o Zandronum no meu PC Linux (Debian GNU / Linux bullseye / sid)
Quando o executo, ele não abre. Eu dei o comando no terminal e a seguinte resposta apareceu:

just stumbled across the very same problem and got help from discord:

This has something todo with broken FMOD sound system on newer kernels.

workaround:

start zandronum with -nosound option
Set Sount Output System to SDL in Options
quit game

restart normally
