Galera, adicionei os repositório do kali aqui, fiz apt-get update e upgrade.
Ae começou a instalar, sendo que eu notei que o negócio tava instalando duma maneira meio forçada.. dando uns erro e tal. Ae dei control + c logo no começo, removi os repositórios do kali. Enfim, tentei apagar tudo desse bixo.
O que aconteceu foi que esse processo bugou meu 'locale' de algum jeito.

Quanto tento instalar algo ou mexer em alguma configuração do sistema aparece o seguinte:

Depois de pesquisar na net, notei que mandavam eu executar comandos tipo "sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales", mas pro meu azar o sistema acusa que eu não tenho o 'locales' instalado.
Aí eu tentei instalar, porém aparece:

apt-get install locales

Consegui resolver 90% do problema.
Basicamente o que eu fiz foi baixar o pacote locales de um site de repositórios do ubuntu, instalei ele mais ou menos com o dpkg, dando erros e tal; mas foi o suficiente para que o locale-gen funcionasse. Isso resolvei praticamente todos os problemas.

O que falta agora é conseguir instalar o locales direitinho pelo apt-get sem aparecer aquela ruma de supostas dependências.
