Instalação NTOP no linux Gentoo

Boa Tarde,

Pessoal peguei um servidor com Gentoo para instalar o NTOP, porem não estou conseguindo instalar o mesmo, alguem poderia me auxiliar?

Os Bancos de Dados desse Gentoo, o Portage dele, estão atualizados? Vc fez "emerge --sync"?

Você tem que atualizar...não pode deixar assim...

Para prosseguir com a instalação, crie um arquivo no diretório /etc/portage/package.use conforme o Portage te indica:



No diretório crie um arquivo chamado cairo-1.12.12-r1 e insira o seguinte nele:

=x11-libs/cairo-1.12.12-r1 svg 

Salve e saia. Depois crie outro arquivo chamado gd-2.0.35-r3 e insira o seguinte nele:

>=media-libs/gd-2.0.35-r3 truetype jpeg fontconfig 

O conteúdo de cada arquivo tem que ser exatamente assim.

Se não tiver o diretório, apenas um arquivo chamado package.use, insira os seguintes pacotes dentro do mesmo, nas últimas linhas, não apague as informações que já estiverem lá:

=x11-libs/cairo-1.12.12-r1 svg 

>=media-libs/gd-2.0.35-r3 truetype jpeg fontconfig 

Enfatizo que é preciso sincronizar a árvore do Portage. Você pode ter problemas com isto. Que servidor é este heim? ¬¬

sim, ele precisa atualizar... também notei a mensagem.
Portage é legal... Pq ele "fala" com o usuário. é só seguir o que ele "fala", ou melhor ele escreve: faça isso, faça aquilo.
eu gosto muito de Portage, é uma "Obra Prima" de programação.

Sobre o Portage, realmente meu caro. Concordo contigo em tudo. Lembro-me de uma mensagem em que o Luís Fernando Cavalheiro dizia que o Portage "pegava na mão" do usuário. E realmente. Ele te mostra o caminho a seguir.
