Como colocar ip fixo no debian? [RESOLVIDO]

Olá galera acabei de migrar para o debian como apenas 1 cd e no final da instalação vi que o icone do networmanager não estava lá!certo,não faz muita falta,afinal a internet ainda ta conectada,o problema é que só sabia deixar o ipfixo no ubuntu,através de modo gráfico
como faço pra resolver isso?
e outra,se quiser instalar o segundo cd depois de instalado o primeiro,como faço isso?

Primeiramente você vai ter que editar o arquivo interfaces que fica em /etc/network.
Digite no terminal $ sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces irá abrir o editor de texto lá no arquivo deve estar mais ou menos assim:

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

agora vc pode comentar todas as linhas para que ambas fiquem desabilitadas e aí vc edita assim:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

address 192.168.0.202
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
gateway 192.168.0.1
dns-nameserver 192.168.0.1

lembrando que vc deve substituir a interface pela que vc dejesa atribuir os novos valores e claro, colocar os seus IP.

se sim,não deu certo ele demora muito ao iniciar o sistema
aparece um erro no começo antes de logar
''alguma coisa failed''
depois disso o sistema inicia normal,mas não trava ao ao clicar para reiniciar


mas uma coisa o que devo colocar na parte?

tenta assim!

#interface eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.1.1.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 10.1.1.0
broadcast 10.1.1.255 ## esse nao é tao necessario assim nao, mais pode por se quiser##
gateway 10.1.1.1 ## se esse for o seu gateway##


ai vc edita o resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
nano /etc/resolv.conf ( use o editor que gosta)
deixando o resolv.conf assim.

nameserver 10.1.1.1 ## se esse for seu servidor dns##


acredito q assim funcione!

depois vc reinicia a sua interface de rede com o comando:

agora que toda a sua duvida.

dpois pra vc poder catalogar outro cd vc faz o seuinte:
vai em Sistema >> Administração >> Canias de Software vai abrir uma janela. nesta janela vc vai na segunda aba e clica em add CD-ROM.

espero q isso ajude.

vc tem que colocar o endereço da sua rede que no seu caso é 10.1.1.0 o q vc colocou é o seu enredeço de broadcast. Depois vc reinicia o serviço /etc/init.d/networking restart ou se quiser reinicia o pc. Com relação a instalar outro cd eu naão percebi na sua pergunta, mas vamos lá o que o amigo R.S.P Andre falou esta certo. Se vc não catalogou o cd 2 e os demais no momento da isntalação, segue os passos que nosso amigo citou que vai dar certo.

quanto a catolgar o cd2 do debian,não existe a opção ''canais de software''
muito estranho!


e quando o sistema vai logar,na hora em que passa umas letrinhas rapidas semelhante a bios,tem uma menssagen dissendo alguma coisa relacianada a ''paniclog'' em algum lugar do sistema

o que pode ser?

acho que minha instalação não foi bem feita,na hora em que eu ia instalar o debian ele me pedio para instalar aquele tal de espelho,clickei em sim sem querer e depois cancelei séra que não foi isso?
