Verifique os teus repositórios no arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list.

Esse é o que eu uso no Debian Wheezy 7.5.0 64 bits.
Para atualizar utilize sempre na sequência
# apt-get update
# aptitude safe-upgrade
Assim não terá mais problemas com atualizações.
