Como mudar o Debian GNU/Linux 8.11 (jessie) para o Debian 9 (stretch)?

Preciso de um guia para atualizar meu Debian, alguém poderia me ajudar?

A atualização do Debian 8.11 (jessie) para o Debian 9 (stretch) geralmente segue os seguintes passos:

1. Verifique a versão atual:

$ cat /etc/os-release

2. Atualize os pacotes e instalar upgrades disponíveis:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade

3. Coloque o pacotes para atualização no seu sources.list:

$ sudo sed -i 's/jessie/stretch/g' /etc/apt/sources.list

4. Atualize os pacotes novamente:

$sudo apt-get update

5. Execute o dist-upgrade:

$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

6. Atualize o Grub:

$ sudo update-grub

7. Verifique a versão atualizada:

$ cat /etc/os-release

Fiz tudo isso passo a passo, e não atualizou! Está aqui tudo q apareceu

* o Debian já está na versão 11 ... pq quer atualizar do 8 para o 9 ???

* é muito mais rápido fazer uma instalação limpa ao invés de atualizar.

* as vezes da erro quando se atualiza de uma versão para a outra ... mais um motivo para fazer uma instalação limpa.

Consultei um amigo e ele me disse q poderia ocorrer erros com mnh maquina, se atualizasse do 8 para o 11 direto! E de q forma eu poderia fzr uma instalação limpa?

* Se a /home estiver na mesma partição da /, faça backup dos seus arquivos.

* faça uma mídia bootavel do Debian 11.

* Sete o boot para a mídia criada e instale normalmente como se fosse a primeira instalação.

Nota: Se quiser mais detalhado dá uma pesquisada no Google pq estou agora no celular e é meio complicado de te passar a parada detalhadamente.
