baixei e instalei os drivers no meu debian sarge, esta carregando os modulos, mas nunca da Renderer direct: yes.

ai meu xfree86, parece estar tudo certo, mesmo assim nao funciona o 3d. alguma dica?

Baixem o driver para linux direto do site da ATI, salve, abra o linux na interface gráfica, execute o software. tenho uma 9600xt que fiz rolar assim, já com placas nvidia , só rola bem se executar em modo texto (init 3).
